Product Release - SMTEE4.0 Current Sensing Transformers
(37 ~ 2000) µH 4.5mm x 4.0mm x 3.5mm(H) RoHS Compliant With the addition of this new smaller SMTEE4.0 package, TFC now offer two miniature types of current transformers (CTs), which due to their small and compact design are well suited to DC/DC convertors. The two smd devices are both machine mountable, but the EE4.0 cored package is integrated into the coil former saving space. Current transformers safely isolate measurement and control circuitry from the high voltages typically present on the circuit being measured. They are used to monitor alternating current detected at it's primary winding and provide a proportional current at its secondary. With the SMTEE4.0 package, the maximum DC resistance at the primary is 3.0mΩ, whilst a typical DCR at the secondary is 17Ω. The test voltage is 500VAC. |
