Custom wound air coils and smd SMTSC air core coils - February 2016
Air wound coils, commonly known as Spring Coils; provide the highest possible Q from a coreless inductor. These units are therefore valuable in the design of high frequency r.f. circuits or where it is necessary to maximise the Q value of the component; air core inductors, custom wound, maximum Q values, gold, silver or copper wire, leaded or smd.
The SC custom wound coils, may be wound with an internal diameter 0.3mm and leads can be forming to many different styles to suit customer’s design, these custom wound coils are particularly suitable for high frequency applications.
The smd type SMTSC air core coils, over the inductance range of (2.2 ~ 538)nH with 4 industry standard packages ideally suited as a drop in replacements.
